Mandate

In 1972, the Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation was established help ensure the unique character of the Hospital by financing projects and services not funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Services.

The Foundation’s mandate is to receive, distribute and invest funds raised through donations and fundraisers to support the Montreal Chinese Hospital and its beneficiaries. It is an independent non-profit organization with its own bylaws and governing board consisting of thirteen members.

To achieve its objectives, the Foundation continually searches for new sources of financial contributions, which come in many forms such as individual or corporate donations, bequests, planned gifts or in honour of the passing of a loved one.

The Foundation organizes many activities (e.g. Annual ball and golf tournament), which result in much appreciated contributions.
